amsterdamcards.com is an information and booking site for the I amsterdam City Card. The I amsterdam City Card is Amsterdam's official city pass, issued by amsterdam&partners, the city's official marketing organisation. The card combines one free entry to more than 70 museums and attractions with a canal cruise and free travel on public transport (GVB), and is available with a validity of 24 to 120 hours.
The card does not count calendar days but consecutive hours from first use, and the GVB network ends at the city limits: NS trains and regional buses are not covered, and neither is the journey from Schiphol Airport. So we work out how many venues fit into your hours, which duration goes with them, and what the included canal cruise and free travel on the GVB network already cover on their own. We check what each duration contains against the amsterdam&partners site and against the booking channel.
What this site is not
amsterdamcards.com is an independent guide to the I amsterdam City Card. We are not the official website of amsterdam&partners (I amsterdam). We are not a hotel or general travel portal, and we deliberately leave out hotel booking and tours without a connection to the card. We do not sell the card ourselves: bookings are made through our partner Tiqets, and their current prices, availability and terms apply.
